Storyboard: Maya stands in the hallway of her building and unlocks the door to her new permanent flat. She steps inside and happily looks around the quiet, furnished living room, taking it all in.
ഞാൻ വരാന്തയിൽ നിൽക്കുന്നു.I stand in the hallway.
എന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഒരു താക്കോൽ ഉണ്ട്.I have a key in my hand.

carrying suitcases
Storyboard: Maya makes a few trips to bring her luggage from her temporary room down the hall. She takes her heavy suitcase into the bedroom and drops her smaller bags in the living room, observing how the bags now lie on the floor next to the sofa.
ഞാൻ എന്റെ പഴയ മുറിയിലേക്ക് പോകുന്നു.I go to my old room.
എന്റെ സാധനങ്ങൾ അവിടെ ഉണ്ട്.My things are there.

unpacking the workspace
Storyboard: Maya immediately sets up her workspace in the living room. She arranges her things so that her laptop now sits on the desk, and a few favorite books sit neatly on a small shelf near her chair.
ഞാൻ സ്വീകരണമുറിയിൽ ആണ്.I am in the living room.
എന്റെ ബാഗുകൾ തറയിൽ കിടക്കുന്നു.My bags lie on the floor.
ഞാൻ ഒരു ബാഗ് തുറക്കുന്നു.I open a bag.

bedroom storage
Storyboard: In the bedroom, Maya unpacks her clothes and stacks them inside the wooden wardrobe. Once her large suitcase is completely empty, she pushes it out of the way so that the suitcase lies under the bed.
ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ കിടപ്പുമുറിയിൽ ആണ്.I am in the bedroom now.
എന്റെ വലിയ സ്യൂട്ട്കേസ് താഴെ കിടക്കുന്നു.My large suitcase lies on the floor.

kitchen basics
Storyboard: Maya walks into the small kitchen and opens the empty cupboards. She unpacks her favorite Mexican coffee and two coffee mugs from home, setting them down so the items sit on the kitchen counter.
ഞാൻ അടുക്കളയിൽ പോകുന്നു.I go into the kitchen.
ഈ അടുക്കള വളരെ ചെറുതാണ്.This kitchen is very small.

anithas visit
Storyboard: Anitha knocks lightly on the open front door, holding a small potted plant as a welcome gift. Maya smiles brightly, greets her friend, and invites her inside to see the newly organized flat.
എന്റെ പുതിയ ഫ്ലാറ്റിന്റെ വാതിൽ തുറന്നു കിടക്കുന്നു.The door of my new flat lies open.

ഞാൻ സന്തോഷത്തോടെ അവരെ നോക്കി ചിരിക്കുന്നു.I smile happily looking at her.
"ഹലോ മായ, അകത്തേക്ക് വരാമോ?" അനിത ചോദിക്കുന്നു."Hello Maya, can I come inside?" Anitha asks.
"തീർച്ചയായും, അകത്തേക്ക് വരൂ," ഞാൻ പറയുന്നു."Certainly, come inside," I say.
അനിത സ്വീകരണമുറിയിൽ വരുന്നു.Anitha comes into the living room.
അവർ ആ ചെടി എനിക്ക് തരുന്നു.She gives that plant to me.
"ഇത് പുതിയ ഫ്ലാറ്റിലേക്കുള്ള ഒരു സമ്മാനമാണ്," അവർ പറയുന്നു."This is a gift for the new flat," she says.

placing the plant
Storyboard: Maya and Anitha look around the living room for the perfect spot for the new plant. Maya chooses a small table near the window, admiring how the plant pot now sits right in the pleasant January sunlight.
ഞാനും അനിതയും സ്വീകരണമുറിയിൽ നിൽക്കുന്നു.Anitha and I stand in the living room.
എന്റെ കയ്യിൽ പുതിയ ചെടിയുണ്ട്.I have the new plant in my hand.

first coffee break
Storyboard: On the little stove in her furnished kitchen, Maya brews the Mexican coffee and pours it into the two mugs. The two women sit together on the sofa, sharing the special coffee from home, relaxing and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of Maya's own flat.
ഞാൻ അടുക്കളയിൽ പോകുന്നു.I go into the kitchen.
അവിടെ ഒരു ചെറിയ ഗ്യാസ് അടുപ്പ് ഉണ്ട്.There is a small gas stove there.

ഞാൻ അനിതയ്ക്ക് ഒരു മഗ്ഗ് കാപ്പി കൊടുക്കുന്നു.I give a mug of coffee to Anitha.
