Storyboard: Maya walks her bicycle to the neighbourhood mechanic to get it serviced. She politely calls the mechanic bhaiya, explains what she needs, and asks what time she should return to collect it later in the week.
मी रोज सकाळी चालते.I walk every morning.
पण मी कधीकधी सायकलही चालवते.But I also ride my bicycle sometimes.
आज माझ्या सायकलला सर्व्हिसिंग हवी आहे.Today my bicycle needs a service.
मी माझी सायकल एका दुकानात नेते.I take my bicycle to a shop.

गुरुवारी साडेपाच वाजता माझी जिम असते.My gym is at half past five on Thursday.
म्हणून मी म्हणते, "चालेल, मी सात वाजता येते."So I say, "Fine, I will come at seven o'clock."

Storyboard: Maya calls a local salon to book a haircut. She asks the receptionist what times are available and successfully schedules an appointment for Saturday morning at exactly eleven o'clock.

मी नेहमी शनिवारी सकाळी उशिरा उठते.I always wake up late on Saturday mornings.

Storyboard: On Tuesday evening at half past five, Maya arrives at the local gym for her workout. She completes her exercises, happy to finally have a healthy routine that she can follow always.

आता संध्याकाळचे साडेपाच वाजले आहेत.It is now half past five in the evening.
मी जिममध्ये जाते.I go to the gym.
मी मंगळवारी आणि गुरुवारी नेहमी तिथे जाते.I always go there on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
जिममध्ये खूप लोक आहेत.There are many people in the gym.

Storyboard: Midweek, Maya bumps into her neighbour Asha in the building lobby. Asha warmly suggests they go out for coffee together this Saturday at eleven o'clock.

मी संध्याकाळी ऑफिसमधून परत येते.I come back from the office in the evening.
मी इमारतीच्या लॉबीमध्ये जाते.I go into the building's lobby.
माझी शेजारीण आशा तिथे उभी आहे.My neighbour Asha is standing there.
ती मला बघते आणि हसते.She sees me and smiles.
"हॅलो माया, तुम्ही कशा आहात?" ती विचारते."Hello Maya, how are you?" she asks.
"मी मजेत आहे, आशा.""I am well, Asha."
"आणि तुम्ही?" मी विचारते."And you?" I ask.
"मी पण ठीक आहे," ती सांगते."I am fine too," she says.
"तुम्ही या शनिवारी काय करत आहात?" आशा विचारते."What are you doing this Saturday?" Asha asks.
"मी शनिवारी सकाळी नेहमी घरीच असते," मी उत्तर देते."I am always at home on Saturday mornings," I answer.
"आपण शनिवारी कॉफीसाठी बाहेर जाऊया का?" ती विचारते."Shall we go out for coffee on Saturday?" she asks.
"ही खूप छान कल्पना आहे," मी म्हणते."This is a very good idea," I say.
मी रोज ऑफिसमध्ये काम करते.I work in the office every day.
त्यामुळे मला कधीकधी बाहेर जायला आवडते.Therefore, I sometimes like to go out.

"हो, शनिवारी सकाळी अकरा वाजता," ती सांगते."Yes, on Saturday morning at eleven o'clock," she says.
"ठीक आहे, आपण शनिवारी भेटू," मी आनंदाने म्हणते."Okay, we will meet on Saturday," I say happily.
मी तिला 'हो' म्हणते, पण मी माझे कॅलेंडर बघत नाही.I say 'yes' to her, but I do not look at my calendar.

Storyboard: Back in her flat, Maya checks her phone and realizes she has a double booking. She sees that both her haircut and the coffee with Asha land at the exact same hour on Saturday.

Storyboard: Maya quickly calls the salon back to fix the schedule. She explains the situation and moves her haircut appointment to half past two in the afternoon, keeping her morning free.

रिसेप्शनिस्ट फोन उचलते.The receptionist answers the phone.
"हॅलो, माझं नाव माया आहे," मी म्हणते."Hello, my name is Maya," I say.
"हॅलो मॅडम," ती म्हणते."Hello Madam," she says.
"शनिवारी सकाळी अकरा वाजता माझी अपॉइंटमेंट आहे," मी सांगते."My appointment is at eleven o'clock on Saturday morning," I say.
"पण मला त्यावेळी दुसरं काम आहे.""But I have other work at that time."
"मला दुसरी वेळ हवी आहे," मी म्हणते."I want another time," I say.
"ठीक आहे, मॅडम," ती म्हणते."Okay, Madam," she says.
"तुम्ही किती वाजता येता?" ती विचारते."What time are you coming?" she asks.
"दुपारी अडीच वाजता वेळ आहे का?" मी विचारते."Is there time at half past two in the afternoon?" I ask.
ती वेळ तपासते.She checks the time.
"हो, दुपारी अडीच वाजता वेळ आहे," ती सांगते."Yes, there is time at half past two in the afternoon," she says.
"मग माझी अपॉइंटमेंट शनिवारी अडीच वाजता ठेवा," मी सांगते."Then keep my appointment at half past two on Saturday," I say.
"ठीक आहे, तुमची वेळ आता बदलली आहे," ती सांगते."Okay, your time is now changed," she says.
"शनिवारी दुपारी भेटू.""See you on Saturday afternoon."
"धन्यवाद," मी म्हणते."Thank you," I say.
मी फोन ठेवते.I hang up the phone.
आता माझी शनिवारची सकाळ मोकळी आहे.Now my Saturday morning is free.

Storyboard: On Thursday at seven in the evening, after her gym, Maya returns to the mechanic as agreed to collect her freshly serviced bicycle. She thanks the mechanic for having it ready right on schedule.
आज गुरुवार आहे.Today is Thursday.
मी मेकॅनिकच्या दुकानात जाते.I go to the mechanic's shop.
मी बरोबर सात वाजता तिथे पोहोचते.I reach there at exactly seven o'clock.
मेकॅनिक दादा दुकानात आहेत.The mechanic Dada is in the shop.
मी त्यांना विचारते, "नमस्ते दादा, माझी सायकल तयार आहे का?"I ask him, "Hello Dada, is my bicycle ready?"
