Storyboard: Maya wakes up in her flat and pulls back the curtains to a bright, glaring morning. She immediately feels the intense warmth in the room and realizes it is a very hot and sunny day.

खोलीत थोडा अंधार आहे.	It is a little dark in the room.
मी खिडकीजवळ जाते.	I go near the window.

Storyboard: While drinking her morning coffee, Maya checks the weather app on her phone. She sees the high temperatures for the day but is surprised to read the forecast predicting that it will rain in the evening.

Storyboard: Getting ready for the office, Maya knows she must dress for the hot weather. She puts on her new light white cotton shirt, knowing it will keep her comfortable.

Storyboard: Inside the cool software office, Maya chats with her colleague Rohan by a large window. They look out at the blazing afternoon sun; Rohan complains about the heat, but Maya happily tells him the forecast says it will rain later.
मी ऑफिसमध्ये आहे.	I am in the office.
ऑफिसमध्ये खूप थंड आहे.	It is very cool in the office.

मी म्हणते, "हो, संध्याकाळी हवामान बदलेल."	I say, "Yes, the weather will change in the evening."
रोहन आनंदाने हसतो.	Rohan smiles happily.
तो म्हणतो, "ही खूप चांगली बातमी आहे."	He says, "This is very good news."
आम्ही पुन्हा खिडकीबाहेर पाहतो.	We look outside the window again.
मी आता पावसाची वाट पाहते.	I wait for the rain now.

Storyboard: Maya finishes her work and steps out of the office building. The weather suddenly shifts—the bright sunshine vanishes as thick, dark clouds roll in, and a cool wind begins to blow.
मी ऑफिसमध्ये माझं काम संपवते.	I finish my work in the office.
मी इमारतीबाहेर येते.	I come out of the building.
संध्याकाळची वेळ आहे.	It is evening time.
आता हवामान अचानक बदलते.	Now the weather suddenly changes.
बाहेर आता ऊन नाही.	There is no sun outside now.
लख्ख ऊन नाहीसे होते.	The bright sunshine vanishes.
मी आकाशाकडे बघते.	I look at the sky.
आकाशात काळे ढग आहेत.	There are dark clouds in the sky.
दाट काळे ढग येतात.	Thick dark clouds roll in.
अचानक थंड वारा सुटतो.	Suddenly, a cool wind picks up.
आता बाहेर गरम नाही.	Now it is not hot outside.
हा थंड वारा खूप छान वाटतो.	This cool wind feels very nice.
रस्त्यावरचे लोकही वर ढगांकडे बघतात.	The people on the street also look up at the clouds.
मला हवामानाचा अंदाज आठवतो.	I remember the weather forecast.
आज संध्याकाळी पाऊस पडेल.	It will rain this evening.
तो अंदाज अगदी बरोबर आहे.	That forecast is absolutely correct.
लवकरच पाऊस सुरू होईल.	The rain will start soon.
मी एक क्षण तिथेच उभी राहते.	I stand right there for a moment.
मी पावसाची वाट बघते.	I wait for the rain.
sudden shower
Storyboard: Large drops start falling, and a sudden, heavy shower begins. It is Maya's first experience of rain in Mumbai; she smiles at the sudden change, quickly steps under a shop awning with other commuters to stay dry, and then catches her BEST bus home once the heavy downpour lightens.
अचानक पाण्याचे मोठे थेंब पडतात.	Suddenly, large drops of water fall.
खूप जोराचा पाऊस सुरू होतो.	A very heavy rain begins.
मुंबईतला हा माझा पहिला पाऊस आहे.	This is my first rain in Mumbai.
मी आनंदाने हसते.	I smile happily.
मी सकाळी अॅपवर वाचले होते, "संध्याकाळी पाऊस पडेल."	I had read on the app in the morning, "It will rain in the evening."
तो अंदाज अगदी बरोबर होता!	That forecast was exactly right!
पण आता पाऊस खूप जोराचा आहे.	But now the rain is very heavy.
मी पटकन एका दुकानाकडे जाते.	I quickly go towards a shop.
दुकानाबाहेर एक मोठे छप्पर आहे.	There is a large awning outside the shop.
मी तिथे आडोशाला उभी राहते.	I stand there for shelter.
माझ्यासोबत इतर लोकही तिथे उभे आहेत.	Other people are standing there with me too.
एक मावशी माझ्याकडे बघून हसतात.	An older woman looks at me and smiles.
त्या म्हणतात, "बाहेर बघ, कसा पाऊस पडतोय!"	She says, "Look outside, how it is raining!"
मी म्हणते, "हो, हवा आता छान गार आहे."	I say, "Yes, the weather is nice and cool now."
थोड्या वेळाने जोराचा पाऊस थांबतो.	After a short while, the heavy rain stops.
आता फक्त बारीक पाऊस पडतोय.	Now only light rain is falling.
मी चालत बस स्टॉपवर जाते.	I walk to the bus stop.
माझी बेस्ट बस येते आणि मी आत चढते.	My BEST bus arrives and I climb inside.
मी खिडकीजवळ बसते आणि बाहेर बघत घरी जाते.	I sit near the window and go home looking outside.

Storyboard: Later that night, Maya stands by the open window in her flat. The rain stops, leaving the air completely fresh and cool, and she happily watches the wet street below.
आता रात्र आहे.	It is night now.
