Storyboard: Arriving at the software company, Maya settles at her desk and boots up her computer. Her colleague Rohan comes over to her workstation, and they casually chat using their first names while collaborating on a tricky piece of code.
मी ऑफिसमध्ये पोहोचते.I arrive at the office.
मी माझ्या डेस्कवर जाते.I go to my desk.
मी माझी लॅपटॉप बॅग खुर्चीवर ठेवते.I put my laptop bag on the chair.

Storyboard: During her lunch break, Maya steps out onto the busy pavement. A lost tourist approaches her; using polite terms, Maya confidently gives them directions, pointing out how to reach a large nearby post office down the road.

तो मला नम्रपणे विचारतो, "एक्सक्यूज मी, मॅडम."He politely asks me, "Excuse me, Madam."

street fruit errand
Storyboard: Before heading back inside, Maya stops by a vibrant fruit cart. She addresses the seller affectionately as bhaiya, asks the price of some fresh bananas, pays him in rupees, and safely tucks the fruit into her bag.

wrapping up work
Storyboard: The afternoon flies by as Maya focuses on typing and testing her software code. As evening sets in, she saves her progress, waves goodbye to Rohan and the rest of the team, and heads out of the office building.

मी माझ्या डेस्कवर बसते.I sit at my desk.

catching up with asha
Storyboard: Maya arrives back at her apartment building and runs into her kind neighbor, Asha, who is walking her dog, Moti. They stand in the corridor chatting warmly about the pleasant evening weather, Moti's playful energy, and what they are currently preparing for dinner, making Maya feel truly at home in her new city.
मी माझ्या इमारतीत पोहोचते.I reach my building.
मी आत जाते.I go inside.
माझी शेजारीण आशा कॉरिडॉरमध्ये उभी आहे.My neighbour Asha is standing in the corridor.
तिचा कुत्रा मोती तिच्यासोबत आहे.Her dog Moti is with her.
मोती खूप उत्साही आहे.Moti is very energetic.

आशा मला बघते आणि हसते.Asha sees me and smiles.

मोती माझ्या जवळ येतो.Moti comes near me.
मी त्याच्या डोक्यावरून हात फिरवते.I stroke his head.
"तुम्ही आज रात्रीच्या जेवणासाठी काय बनवत आहात?" आशा विचारते."What are you making for dinner tonight?" Asha asks.
"मी वरण-भात बनवत आहे.""I am making dal and rice."
"आणि तुम्ही?" मी विचारते."And you?" I ask.
"मी पोळी आणि भाजी बनवत आहे." ती सांगते."I am making roti and sabzi," she says.
आम्ही थोडा वेळ गप्पा मारतो.We chat for some time.
मला आता या शहरात खूप छान वाटते.I feel very good in this city now.
मला इथे अगदी घरच्यासारखे वाटते.I feel truly at home here.
